The Covid-19 Pandemic has taught us two important lessons; One of them is that “Uncertainty” is the only Certainty. The second one is that “ Real wisdom is to value and cherish the things while you have them”
These lessons has ensured the human spirit will never fail us, provided we believe in ourselves and never give up to threats and uncertainties.
Eshna Kutty is a bubbly 23 year old who has understood these learning’s of nature and life and have put her mental faculties to build a business around these realities.
Eshna , was passionate about dance and with her “Hula Hoop” dance created a business with an innovation. She danced in a sari and with sprightly elegance. The sari tied around funnily tight for the traditional aunties; and with sneakers to match. This lethal combo of “sari with sneakers” was a killer that did the magic along with the amazing grace of the Hula Hoop dance form.
The video shot for fun went viral in a crazy way making Eshna a social media star overnight. The youngsters who loved dance went into a tizzy and started forwarding her hula hoop videos. So naturally all TV news channels fought over with each other to get her perspective first; resulting in this 23 year olds fame getting amplified many times. She dance appropriately to the iconic song “ Sasural Gendha Phool;” again in sync with Indian values of family togetherness . Vasudev Mahakutumbam “ as the Prime Minister often refers to a a core trait of India.
Eshna in this silent revolution did 3 things which echoes the sentiment of the ruling political leadership.
1) She highlighted the demographic dividend of the youth, and belief in their passion
2) She promoted the Saree in a unique way as never done before to make the young women make it a fashion and a fad to adorn the sari.
3) Lastly she set up her own classes of Hula Hoop of which she has many students, So the passion has monetized and will slowly get amplified as one more big success story of “ Make Uniquely in India” with Rekha Bhardwaj- the original singer of “Sasural Gendha Phool” calling her and wanting to join her classes. So with some encouragement from the political leadership like the Prime Minister Tweeting about this happening; we have a silent revolution getting amplified and monetized into different geographies of India.
